Confirm Compatibility and Required Depth

Check your valve and trim installation instructions for extension kit 96945. Confirm that a 1-inch extension is appropriate for your installation. The Posi-Temp name alone does not establish compatibility with every trim configuration, and kits from other valve systems should not be assumed interchangeable.

Installation Preparation

Follow the manufacturer's instructions for your specific valve, trim, and extension kit. Check the required mounting components before beginning and protect the chrome finish during service. This listing is for an extension kit, not a complete valve or trim assembly.
